The National Comedy Center welcomes guests of all abilities to explore the story of comedy and experience the art form.
The National Comedy Center has a free accessible parking lot located at the west end of the museum, near Jefferson Street and W. 2nd Street.

The accessible path to the main entrance is from the Accessible Parking area. Travel down the sidewalk past the renovated Train Station building. The main entrance is on the corner of Washington Street and W. 2nd Street. Accessible doorways to outdoor areas are equipped with automatic openers.
Service animals are welcomed at the National Comedy Center.

Guests using wheelchairs can access all areas of the museum. Manual wheelchairs are available free of charge on a first-come, first-serve basis upon entry at the Coat Check in the Main Lobby.
All restrooms are accessible and are located on the Main Level and in the Comedy Center Park Passageway. Single–user, family, and all-gender restrooms are located in the Main Lobby and in the Gift Shop Lobby.

All levels of the Museum are accessible by elevator. Seating is available throughout most exhibit and gallery spaces for guests who may need to rest during their visit.
Large print versions of the museum’s exhibits’ storytelling and imagery are available at the Admissions counter. Please ask a Team Member for assistance.
Transcripts for audio-only experiences are available as part of our Large Print Guides. Please ask a Team Member for assistance.
Most video media throughout the Museum is open-captioned.
Our exhibits feature immersive sound and visual media which may feel overstimulating for some guests. We encourage you to bring any tools or supports you may need to navigate your visit comfortably.

An exit ramp is available from the Gift Shop. The exit ramp will be down the hallway to your right as you leave the Gift Shop. After exiting, you will be near the intersection of W 2nd Street and Lafayette Street. Accessible doorways are equipped with automatic openers.
Comedy Center Park and Plaza are accessible by ramp and elevator. Accessible doorways to outdoor areas are equipped with automatic openers.
