Get Involved

Do you love comedy, pop culture, the arts, interactive technology,
and making people laugh?

The National Comedy Center is the first state-of-the-art museum and nonprofit cultural institution dedicated to telling the story of comedy. More than 50 immersive exhibits take visitors on an interactive journey through this story. We are looking for energetic, enthusiastic, and dedicated volunteers to join our team. Volunteers are key members of our team and will help share the art of comedy with all of our guests.

How to Help

Guest Services

“Welcome to the National Comedy Center!” Did you read that with a smile? If so, this is definitely the position for you. Help guests throughout the museum and share your passion for comedy. A variety of opportunities are available, from exhibit guide to coat check attendant.

Special Event Volunteer

We host exciting events throughout the year like monthly Stand-Up LIVE shows in the Tropicana Room and the Lucille Ball Comedy Festival. We will keep you posted on different events, so you can help when you are available.

Bus Groups

Bus groups are an important and busy part of our operations, and we are fortunate to welcome buses with people of all ages from all over. Bus groups come during regular hours, and on days we are closed to the general public. Some areas in the National Comedy Center require additional assistance during bus groups so we’re always looking for available volunteers to help give these groups a wonderful experience!

The Perks
