The National Comedy Center, the nation’s official museum and cultural institution dedicated to comedy, has announced today that kids and teens, age 17 and under, will be admitted to its museums for free throughout the summer tourism season, made possible with the generous support of Shults Auto Group.
This unprecedented, 14-week summer admission opportunity will enable families to experience the National Comedy Center in Jamestown, NY at tremendous savings. Up to two kids and teens will be admitted free with an accompanying paying adult from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend.
The National Comedy Center, which was named the “#1 Best New Museum” and the “#2 Best New Attraction” in the country by USA Today, and one of the “World’s Greatest Places” by TIME magazine, offers a immersive and interactive experiences designed for families and children of all ages to enjoy a curation of comedy’s greatest content throughout time, use green screens to get into classic comedy scenes, create their own memes and cartoons, and even try comedy karaoke.
The Center has received rave reviews from the media and visitors for its family-friendly exhibits and was recently named by U.S. News & World Report as a “25 Top Family Weekend Getaway in the U.S.” in a list of destinations that included Walt Disney World and Disneyland.
Western New York Family Magazine called the National Comedy Center a “Must See Destination… recommended for school-age children and up,” and I LOVE NY named the Comedy Center one of the best “family-friend indoor activities” in New York State. Macaroni KID Erie raved about the Comedy Center’s “kid-friendly laughs,” stating, ”We spent nearly four hours at the museum and still had to drag our 7- and 9-year-olds away!”
The Kids and Teens Free program will run through Sunday, December 31, 2023. Up to two kids and teens will be admitted free to both the National Comedy Center and the Lucille Ball Desi Arnaz Museum with the purchase of a full-price admission ticket by an accompanying adult.
Up to two free admission tickets for children and teens, age 17 and under, are available with the purchase of an admission ticket by an adult age 18 or over, who must accompany the minors for the duration of their museum experience. Offer is valid from 5/26/23 through 12/31/23 for National Comedy Center and Lucy Desi Museum or dual admission. Can be combined with senior, active military & veteran, Chautauqua County residents, and Museums for All admission programs. Cannot be combined with other offers or discounts. Offer not valid for group tours, school or youth groups or private event rentals or special programming and events.
